The Texarkana USA Regional Chamber of Commerce and residents celebrated the new courthouse square improvements in Downtown Texarkana on October 29. The celebration consisted of a ribbon-cutting, food trucks, and local high school bands and cheerleaders. Pastor Warren Smith of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church began the ceremony with an invocation and other local officials shared remarks in celebration of another project completed that makes Texarkana, USA even better.

On October 19, 2021, a 20th Year Anniversary Celebration Fundraiser for Runnin' WJ Ranch was held at Twisted Fork Grill & Lounge. Express Employment Professional provided a western-style wagon and Clydesdales. Runnin' WJ Ranch is a Christian 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that opened its doors for therapeutic riding classes in September of 2001. The core of the operation is its over 400 volunteers. Runnin' WJ Ranch is a PATH International Premier Accredited Center (www.pathintl.org). Runnin' WJ Ranch is funded by organizations, foundations, and individual donors.

CASA for Children held their 16th Annual Edge of Texas Golf Tournament on September 27, 20201 at Northridge Country Club. Thirty four teams enjoyed a day of golf while supporting a great cause. All proceeds from the tournament went to benefit CASA and the Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center.

Opportunities, Inc. held its 32nd Annual Golf Invitational on September 12 and 13, 2021, at Texarkana Country Club featuring guest speaker and pro golfer Todd Hamilton and The Sounds of Joy Choir. Clay Roberts was the recipient of the 2021 David Pryor Award. This year's event was a huge success and all support enables Opportunities, Inc. to provide specialized services for individuals with disabilities.

The Texarkana Children Charities Open Cut Party was held on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Northridge Country Club. The All Pro Tour (APT) and Womens All Pro Tour (WAPT) was a week-long event that benefited Runnin' WJ Ranch. The tournament took place at Northridge Country Club and Texarkana Country Club.

TEXAR presented Local Bands, Local Brews, Local Bites on Thursday, June 24 in front of the Historic Perot Theatre. This was a free concert featuring The Moss Brothers with food and drinks available from Pecan Point Brewing and Red Bone Brewery tents.
